The Secret Life of Blog 2The "Major Discount * Department Store" Journal 8월 12일 Hello again...Hello again,
I received a very exciting email today and do you know what it said? It said that I could win a free laptop computer from MSN if I update my email to window's live email. Oh... I am very excited about this because I know that it would be very nice to have a new laptop computer to look at my email with! I do not get email often. I have received two other emails on this account since I opened it, but that is all. I do not think people like to send me emails. I still think it would be nice to look at emails on a new laptop computer, though, even if I never get any. I wonder if I could use the new laptop computer to look at other things too.
That would be very very exciting, I think!
Maybe I could even look at ... updated spaces! Oh that would be very very fun! I have not done that in a very long time!
But this could be another subversive trick from Mr. Bill Gates who always tries to trick me into thinking that something could happen and then it does not and I do not like that at all.
I will have to think about this email that I received in my inbox very cafefully, I think.
Maybe Elliot will know what to do.
I hope you like my blog.
Blog, 007 Blog 7월 15일 Hello again....Oh.....
Oh..... I just had the best dinner Mrs. Maggie has ever cooked for me in my entire time in the Catskill mountains of New York! Oh.... It was just Sooooo good! Oh.... I do not even know how to write about it but I will try because I know, deep down in my innermost being .hat all of you truly want to know about this and should know about this because it was the best meal I think I have ever eaten in ever. I mean, really, it was very very DILECTABLE and that is an understatement.
It was even better than a bacon cheeseburger and I thought I would NEVER say that but it was so I am.
Mrs. Maggie grew some squash, you see, in the garden. She also grew some garlic. Oh....I cannot even begin to tell you how good this was.
She took some three day old linguine that we had the other night that there really was not much left of but she split it between us. Then she melted butter and cooked it all togehter and.... Oh my goodness, this was the most wonderful meal I have ever tasted in my life and I told her she should write a cook book and she said she will think about it but I think I've died and gone to heaven! Oh..... It was sooooooo good!
The squash is a very interesting squash, actually, called "vegetable marrow squash" and it is a variety that was first written about in the 1600's. It is supposed to be like a zuchinni but I hate zuchinne and I liked this so I do not think it is like that but it is very very very good! Oh...it was a wonderful meal! Mrs. Maggie said it is an "heirloom variety" and I am not quite sure what that means but I do know that it was very very very good and I wish there were more but there isn't so I think we will have linguine tomorrow night just so that when the next squash is ready Mrs. Maggie will make more of what she made tonight for me.
She said that she got the idea from watching a television show with a "Ms. Lydia" but I do not know who she is.
I think that if Mrs. Maggie is going to cook this way she should watch more television shows like this though. This is very much better than the recipe's she gets from ...magazines....
I have to go do dishes now because Mrs. Maggie worked hard enough making that dinner for me.
I hopw you like my blog.

7월 12일 Hello againHello again,
I am off from work this morning. It is very nice to have a morning off, especially a morning like this one. It is 62 degrees outside and sunny and the air is very clear which is very very very nice because it has been very thick and hot this week. I had to even use my inhaler the day before yesterday and I have not had to do that in a very very very long time. Today I do not need it though because it is clear and I can see a very very very long way. I like that very very much! Yes I do!
I did not see the deer this morning, but I did see that he had eaten the tops off of all of Mrs. Maggie's beans. She will not be very happy about that when she comes home from work. It is very strange, I think, that deer like to eat people's gardens at night. I would think that they would like to eat during the day, just like I do, but they do not. They like to wait until the sun is just setting and then they come and eat in Mrs. Maggie's garden.
I did see a racoon this morning, but I do not like those.
Galumph and Sprocket do not like them either, but my Buddy the ghost dog does not seem to mind them. He is sleeping on Mrs. Maggies dead uncle's couch right now in my living room. I think that is very very very funny because when we moved here he would not even come in the house or even come near us. Now he sleeps on the furniture and expects to get the grease drippings from the dinner pans. He also expects to have everyone else move around him when he is sleeping. He is very very very old, but he plays with Galumph and tells him when he has done something wrong. He is a good dog and I am glad that he likes to live with us, even if it does mean that there is always dog hair all over the house.
I did not go to the Post Office and mail my college papers this morning. I was going to do that, but they are constructing the road at the bottom of the mountain and I cannot get to the Post Office so I will try to remember to mail them when I go to work. I will have to remember to stop at the Post Office in the next town because it is on my way to work when I go to work the normal way but I cannot do that today because they are constructing the road that way too. I will have to remember to take a detour back to the Post Office.
I do not think I will remember to do that so I think that I should write myself a note to remember that.
I will do that when I am done here, I think.
I did not do very many things with my morning off. I went to see my neighbor who lives up the hill from me. He is very nice and lives in a very very interesting house. I think he is what my professors at college would call "excentric." He has very many interesting artifacts in his house that are fun to observe. His name is Mr. Nelson and he has chickens in his yard. They are live chickens and they walk right up to you and peck at your feet. He also has wooden bears on his porch and a wooden cowboy standing in his hallway. I believe that is what is called an "object de arte." Yes, I do because I learned about those in college, you know. It is interesting to look at. He also has a closet with a life sized wooden indian dressed for war with a real feather war bonnet.
It is always very interesting to go talk to Mr. Nelson. Today we talked about the racoon and the deer. He has been having problems with the racoon with his chickens, it seems. Racoons like to eat chickens, even big chickens that peck at your feet. The racoon does not bother my dogs very much unless it is in my shed eating the garbage and then Galumph gets very upset and scratches at the door.
After that I came home and put away the mail that has been piling on the dining room table that was Mrs. Maggie's dead grandmother's. It looks much better now and I think that is because the mail is gone. I thought I would do that because Elliot and Irma are coming for dinner tonight, if they do not forget, again. They are on vacation here and are very preoccupied with each other because Irma is going to have a baby. It is not very fun to have your best friend's wife expecting a baby. All they do is think about the baby and throw up. Mrs. Maggie and I bought a stroller for the baby that is very nice and is sitting in our living room ... still, because Elliot keeps saying that he will come over but forgets because Irma is throwing up. So, the stroller just sits here, gathering dog hair and when they do come over, we have to eat yogurt and bananas because that is all the baby likes.
I do not like yogurt or bananas.
I have to go to work now.
I hope you like my blog.

7월 11일 Hello againHello again.
Did you know that there are very very many papers that have to be filled out to go to college? If you did not, there are and it is not very fun to fill them out. I was going to wait to fill them out until the week before classes begin again, but I received my second very upset letter from the Financial Aid Office at the college last week, so I decided to fill them out today during my lunch half-hour.
I miss going for walks with Galumph during my lunch half-hour, like we did in Yonkers, New York. It was very very nice to do that. I think that he is happier having a home instead of just having lunches. Last night we saw a deer coming up to the vegetable garden that Mrs. Maggie is growing and Galumph barked and chased the deer away from the garden. When it ran, it jumped very very very high and ran out into the field and do you know what? It had a very big tail and antlers on it too, with three spikes coming off of each side. It was very very beautiful to watch as it was jumping into the field but it was bigger than Galumph. I think that is why he did not chase it. I am glad he did scare it, though, because I think that is what has been eating all of the vegetables in Mrs. Maggie's garden and she is not very happy about that at all.
I will mail my college papers tomorrow, I think.
Mrs. Maggie is making chicken in the toaster oven tonight because it is raining and we cannot cook it on the grill. I like chicken. I think that it is very very tasty, especially the way that Mrs. Maggie cooks it. She does not use the Shake n Bake bar-b-que mix on our chicken. She uses the garlic and herb instant soup mix instead and it is very very very good! It sounds like she is making a salad too. Our tomatos are not ripe yet, so we are using the ones she got at Mr. Jim the farm stand guy's place. He sells nice flowers and very very very good tomatos and watermellon. I like watermellon too, but not during the work week. That is only for weekends. During the week, we get to have his tomatos. So those will be on our salad tonight...with some very tasty ranch dressing. I like ranch dressing too. I never knew that until Mrs. Maggie said that I should try it and I did and I do.
I am hungry. I think I will go to see how long it will be until dinner.
I hope you like my blog.
Blog, 007 Blog 7월 5일 Hello again.....Hello again.....
And Hello to the "office" of Joe Corbi's Pizza which is not a pizzarea but a fund raising organization, which I find to be desperately dissappointing because I had imagined it as a pizza and cyber cafe type structure that it is not at all.
Do we even have cyber cafe's in the United States, I wonder.
It does not matter.
Hello Catlady! It was very very nice to hear from you and yes I do still have my AQUA Aveo car and I like it very much. It does drive very very well in the snow in the Catskill Mountains of New York. I think that is because it is low to the ground and front wheel drive, but Elliot would know more about that than I do. It drove very very well this winter, and I like the mileage too! Most people up here drive SUV's because of the winter road conditions, but I did not have any problems with my aqua Aveo car!
I have been very very busy this winter. I have been working at the DMV, but Mrs. Maggie decided that I should go back to school and get a degree also, so I have been doing that too. I like college. It is very funny, I think. One of the things that I learned at college that is very different than I thought is that I can write and most of the rest of the world cannot. I always thought that everyone could write, but it seems that they cannot. I think that is very very sad because I do like to write.
I did a lot of writing for college.
I wrote about politics and geography and biology and everything I could think of writing about. My professors liked that very very much and they gave me very good comments on my papers.
I learned a lot!
So now I am smarter today because I have been to college, so I will go to college again in September. Then I will be even smarter than I am now and maybe I will be able to think that I should change all of the pipes before I try to install a dishwasher next time.
That would be nice, I think.
I hope you like my blog, especially at Joe Corbi's Pizza!
